2001 Jaguar XJR V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 67,000 miles

I'm considering the purchase of a 2001 Jaguar XJR (with 67,000 miles) from a used car dealer. The car appears to run well during a short test drive. However, I was able to contact the previous owner who revealed problems with the mass air flow sensor meter. The previous owner has repairs completed at a Jaguar dealership several times for the same problem. She indicated the car would suddenly lose power. Out of frustration and continued repair bills, she traded in the car. Should I avoid buying this car? The car is in excellent shape otherwise. Thanks.

It is impossible to state whether you would have further problems in the future. Sll car has faults along their lifetime
