I changed out the body processor module and now my car will not start?

I changed out the body processor module and now my car will not start. I put the old one in that worked fine early 9-12-09 I changed it because my inside lights where not working. It still will not start. It cranks over has strong gas smiell but will not start.

Hello,

This body processor module (this is what Jaguar calls the BCM) needs to the synchronized with the vehicle.
Without synchronizing (programming) this will not be recognized by the vehicle and it will not function.
In order to do the synchronizing you will need a Jaguar PDU (portable diagnostic unit).
