I have a 1995 Jaguar 150+ miles the car has been stalling at a red lights. I have a 25 mile commute each way and the car will stall at least once a day when I am at idle for a long time at a red light.

I have received a check engine light but it usually shuts down again once it it restarted. This problem has been going on for about 2 months. I have changed the air mass sensor, crank shaft sendor, and still no resolution. The car has just had a full tune up and injectors cleaned. I brought this to my mechanic and he stated that it could be the computer or ECM.
the check engine light does not give a code to the problem also it does not always stay on.

Replaced ECM and problem still occurs. Could it be the idle control valve or EGR?

Not sure what else to check. Please Help

Definately check the EGR and the idle speed control.
If the EGR pulses for just instant or is leaking a little bit, at an idle, it will kill the motor. Otherwise it will appear fine. The ISC's pintle valve will wear over time and cause the same problem.
