I need to know whats going on when I press the brakes, they feel really hard, can not see a power booster under the hood, could it that the brake pads are contaminated or air in the liines, is there a power booster on this model?

Your power booster should be hydraulic fee by a pump attached to the front passenger side of the motor and controlled by an accumulator valve mounted on the car frame inside the rt front wheel. The hyd boosters and accumulators are considered non-rebuildable. The most common problem "I" have found is the accumulator fails and doesn't give the power booster the variable pressue it needs to function the way it should. The booster may still be bad but, it takes special equipment to test this system.
