I have a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 that will not start. It cranks good and has spark at the plugs and the fuel system is delivering fuel up to the injectors. I believe the injectors are not working and I don't know how to verify what is not working. Can you help me?

testing injector inputs. You will need a special tool to check injector pulse voltage called a "noid light" which is installed into the injector connector harness. They can be purchased at any good auto parts store. Crank or start the engine. light should blink with each injector pulse. I your case you may want to check 2 or 3. If no pulse, the injector control comes directly from the ECU. You may want to change this out with either a used or rebuilt unit. Good luck.
