A maintenance light is on my on my instrument panel. I am not sure what it means. The picture on the panel looks like a water tank or radiator. When the light first came on, there was a burst of water that leaked out from under the hood. The water level was checked and filled. The radiator got overhauled and the water pump gasket was replaced. The light went away for about a month and now it's back. No water bursts though. Can you tell me what this light means?

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

The light mentioned is the low coolant level indicator. There could be many causes for the light to illuminate. Usually low coolant in the resevoir is the most common problem, but it could also be a faulty sensor, or faulty ball float in the coolant resevoir. I suggest checking your coolant level. You said you recently have repairs done because of a coolant issue so you may want to keep an eye on the coolant level for a few days. If it isn't leaking/getting lower then it is probably a faulty float in the resevoir or faulty sensor.

Hope this helps.
