i would like to know what a cat system fault means on my jaguar 2001 s type 4.0 liter

and if there is any way to take the message out from the dashboard

Have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to retrieve the actual fault codes. The computer will also be able to turn off the warning. Repost with the full codes for more assistance and repair information
