2000 Jaguar S-Type pcm

Ive done alot of research on this but the problem started when my car battery died and I had it jumped all the signs indicate the pcm reset but never learned the driving codes after jumping my car after about a minute the care wants to stalll on me if I dont keep pressure on the gas peddle it will stall. I have checked my air hoses for leaks it just seems so strange that it was running perfect before it was jumped. Also I need to know where is the pcm located at and isnt there a cd I can get to download proper software to it. Thanks for your help daniel

Powertrain Control Module (PCM)On right rear of engine compartment.

Only a specialised diagnostic computer can reflash the PCM
