Jaguar S-Type dies on idle

Hello,

I have a 2000 Jguar S-Type with 40K miles since we only drive it short distances. It had been running great. About 3.5 months back I took it in to the dealership for tire change & 30K service. Now after starting the car & after going a few hundred yards, if I have to stop at a signal, the car heaves and just dies unless I keep accelerating it while stopped. No dashboard signal lights are on.

Could someone please let me know what might be wrong & how I can fix it.
