While I was changing the pads and rotors on the rear the caliper would not recompress, I had to use the old pads, after putting everything bad together DSC system fault message appears on the dash. My question is how to compress the back calipers correctly to put on the new pads. I am aware that DSC system fault means that the traction control is malfunctiong. The other question I have is how to fix or make the DSC light to go off.

The piston controlled actuator is threaded and must be screwed in to install new pads. The surface is designed to accept a special tool for that purpose.
