It wants to quit running when going to accelerat

It idles ok but when u go to give it gas or excelerate or pump the gas pedal it's like the car shits off until u let off the gas pedal have to feather the gas pedal for it to accelerate and it idles high then low over n over

Id check for a vacuum leak first. Crank the engine and spray all around on the top and listen for a rise in rpms. Leave the air filter housing on so you don't get a false reading. If it rises you should check all the little black rubber vacuum lines first.
