1991 Isuzu Trooper burning oil

1991 Isuzu Trooper 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

the engin is useing a lot of oil, oily moisture is coming out the tail pipe, a watery black oily spatter, the smoke is white also if you open the oil fill white smoke comes out there also. Is this rings or head gasket when I first got it it was not so bad but it may have been over filled by two quarts, also its not leaking very much

Check the condition and level of the oil. If overfill drain it-if not get a compression check both dry and wet method and give me the readings-

Or a cylinder leakdown test-
