2000 Isuzu Rodeo Question will rotate but not turn over

I took my isuzu into a machanic because I could'nt get it started and two days later he called and said he could'nt get it fixed and he said the fuel pump and ignition has no power The engine light was on and for a couple of months before I took it in, it would stall like everyday but it always fired up again. The machanic suggested mabey an new engine computer might work but it didnt I tried.

Does applying direct battery current to the fuel pump and ignition start the engine?

Since you have removed the ECU, error codes would not be present, so you have to try checking manually, unless cranking can get the error codes again.

First item to try would be the crank sensor.
