2000 Isuzu Rodeo Question weird grinding sound

On my car there is a grinding sound from under the hood not as bad when the car is idling, but gets worse up to 40 mph and then disappears. It has gotten worse throughout the last week.

I have the same issue, it started today. When I start up it has a grinding sound, then up to right around 40mph it grinds then stops after 40mph.

Never had this issue before today. Any suggestions?

The problem with my car was the air conditioning compressor bearings were shot! I just bypassed the air conditioning compressor for now with a shorter belt till spring when I can fix the compressor
