I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo V-6 Automatic. The Check Engine Light has been on for a long time, but the car was running fine. A test revealed a faulty EGR Valve. I replaced the valve, reset the light, and it came back on. I replaced the valve a second time, and the light came on again. Any suggestions?

Check all wiring look for chaffing also when you had EGR off did you clean passageways and check for blockage in pipes? Aslo a faulty MAP can set code. and any exhaust leaks can set.
Hope this helps

The Map Sensor fixed the problem! It was easy to install and saved me a lot of money from taking it to our mechanic!! I really appreciate the advice.

Thank you and have a great day!
