1996 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 249000 miles

i have a 96 isuzu rodeo,
after about an hour of driving my idle goes up to 2300-3000 and stays there. I replaced the idle control valve thinking it was that but it did not fix the problem. My check engine light is on and brings an error of a vaccume leak so I replaced all my vaccume lines to no prevail. Check engine light is still on and idle is 2300-3000 after about an hour of driving. If I turn my truck off the idle goes back to normal for about 5 min. And goes back up. Any help you can give me is very helpful I am at my wits end

420 is for CAT so may have been another code go to an Auto Zone or similar have code read then post. Does it always take an hour to happen? Oif you turn off and restart does it idle good?

Yes if I turn it off the idle goes to normal for about 5 min then goes back up and it is approximatly an hour give or take 10 min

Next time it idles up disconnect the IAC see if idle comes down
