1995 Isuzu Rodeo Question Knocking noise

My Isuzu started making a knocking noise sounds like a valve. I changed oil and put some Lucas in it, and it stopped for about 20 min and came back. The noise also gets louder and faster when I accelerate. What is it and what to do about it?

You got pretty far before it started! Usualy happens around 100K and sometimes sooner. There's an inherrant problem getting oil to the passenger side rear cylinder bank, and the lifters here (in the rocker arm) tend to plug up. Also the rocker arm shaft tends to wear. I've heard around 3 grand to fix it.
So I'm looking for an "upgraded" engine.
