1994 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 170k miles

My 94 Rodeo had just died while driving the other day. Engine will not turn over anymore. Whenever I turn the key to the on position (not trying to crank the engine) my fuel pump fuse blows. The fuel and ECM relays are in working shape, so I was leaning more toward a burned out fuel pump. What do think might be the problem?

I had 92 Isuzu and it did the exact same thing, I checked my relay also and figured it was the pump. I went and bought one before I pulled it out. I pulled it down and found the plug had cracked and allowed water to gruond the circuit. I replaced the plug and connectors, you might just want to check that first. Luckily my parts dealer took the part back, they ussually won't on electrical parts
