When I turn on my right turn signal, 90% of the time all I get is a buzzing noise coming from somewhere inside the steering column/fuse box area. The blinkers do not turn on. I checked the bulbs, they are fine. I checked the fuse, it also is fine. The left turn signal works. So do the hazard lights. What do you recommend?

If you remove the 5 screws (i have a 1994 Rodeo) from the underside of the steering column and remove the lower plastic piece. Using compressed can of air and Electronic Circuit Cleaner (Radio Shack), move the turn lever up and down and you should see openings at the top and bottom. Spay the contact cleaner in the top, move the turn signal back and forth many times. Repeat at the bottom opening. Blow the cleaner out and let dry. Try the signals. I did this two or three times to get the turn signals contacts cleaned and working. Very simple fix! Good Luck!

I have a 1991 3.1v6 Izusu Rodeo that had the same problem of one side buzzing and one side working ok. I took the steering wheel off to get to the turn signal assembly and found it is a contact rocker in the turn signal assembly that went bad. I fixed mine by putting a drop of solder on the contact points in side the turn signal assembly and then put the assembly back together and it works fine. I did not want to pay $175.00 for a new turn signal assembly. Hope this helps.
