We have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo, 4wd, Automatic. I t has 120,000 miles. I have drained about 3 quarts of transmission fluid from the drain, but now I cannot find where to fill it again, The resevoir on the top will not drain at all so I can't refill it from there. Can you please tell me where the refill is. We have tried everything and can't get the top to drain and can't find where ro refill.

Your gonna love this one.

It looks like there is a plug on the opposite side of the drain plug that may be in the pan, that you add the fluid to until it reaches the bottom of the fill hole.

BTW, the differential fluids should ce changed every 15,000 miles.

What he is trying to tell you is there is no place to fill it from the top.
You need to climb underneath and with the engine idleing and I believe the pan temp at 130 degrees you need to remove the overfill plug and pump the fluid into it until it starts to come out then replace th e plug.
Those are the directions for my 98 trooper but both my pan plugs are vertically situated in the pan.

The reservoir on the top you refered to is probably the power steering and has nothing to do with the trans.
