93 Isuzu Trooper 230,000 miles v-6

The transmission light goes off and on. It has trouble with shifting going up hills. Just had a new alternator of which they keep going out almost twice a year. They say from leaking oil. Any suggestions why- for the most part it has given us no troubles.

230 k? Might need a rebuild. Have the trans scanned for codes. Sorry nuthin lasts forever

You gotta love Isuzus theyre impossible to kill - my rodeo ran for two years with a bad timing belt, radiator, water pump, AND with a misfire before I got my hands on it and fixed it up
