Hi there! 93 isuzu pup having problems with sputtering/bucking mostly in acceleration, particularly in lower gears until I get moving. Also in deceleration, like if Im' coming off a ramp or hill and let off gas, then when I engage again accelaration again I can get a littke sputter, almost feels like I lost gas, but while in a coast. ALways starts fine, most times idles normally, then other times idles low enough that it almost stalls, but doesnt. Runs fine on open road with no symptoms. Symptoms sometimes seem to be worse the warmer the engine.
Mechanic replaced one of the solenoids(upper) in the carburator but still has issue. They also checked crank and cam seals, misfire control in carb, EGR system, O2 and ECM. Timing had been done a while back. They considered a remanufactured or rebuild carb. If this is the problem, would likely have a hard time finding somebody who knows how to deal with carbs on a 93 isuzu. Carb guys are a dying breed.
If there is no immediate or soon coming solution, would it hurt to just drive it in this condition, Not optimal I know, but whats the worst case? Really stumped here, Thanks for your help. J

It does sound like a carb issue, And you are right, they are a dying breed. If you can find someone that is capable, then I would go for it. Try Google to see if you can find a shop in your area that specializes in carbs. Sounds like he may have already done the mixture control solenoid, so it may just be a bad seal or o'ring inside the carb.
