1998 Isuzu Hombre 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

What are the control modules for my 98 isuzu hombre? It is an automatic 4 cylinder 2 wheel drive with a 2.2l engine. Which of the modules need to be flashed?

The powertrain control module (PCM) is the " main brain" for your vehicle. Do you need the relearn procedures?

That almost sounds. Never mind :) What they are telling me is that either the PCM or the ECM needs to be replaced. Not just flashed. One of them was flashed when my ignition needed to be replaced so I was just trying to find out more about it before I shell out a small fortune for a new one.
Thank you

The part they pointed out says ECM on it. What is the difference between the two or is there one?
Sorry for all the questions.

They are one in the same. Some call it PCM (powertrain control module) some call it ECM (engine control module).
