Is this crack in my Cam Cover a problem?

I agree, this one is strange. I need to know if it's an issue or even necessary to repair? Maybe have it welded? It doesn't look like it is holding anything.

It's a difficult part to find since it's part of the head.

The following 3 photos.
IMG_5059 is the actual break on the drivers head
IMG_5060 is a reference to the part and place
IMG_5061 is a close up of where it is cracked but on the other head.

Of course I understand it's holding the cam in place the bolt and actual bearing cover is in tact.

What do you think.
Finding the part is hard (thought I do have a guy), if too expensive, not worth the value of the car.

Yep, that is the end of that camshaft cover, you need a new one or have it welded, sorry. Thanks for the images, they helped.
