IPR problem? code p2623?

Hi again Joe, sorry to bother. l have lost your website I found your last reply so I used it to seek help if I may. I have a problem with IPR I cranked no start I take the IPR pigtail out and put it in again car start up right away with no problem next day morning I do the same procedure and bought new original IPR the same problem l scan with my scanner I got always this code p2623 is it harness problem and how can I check the harness and if kindly there's diagram leading me the car PCM which wires should I check.

It sounds like the valve has gone bad. Please check this video which shows the problem:

Thanks Ken. the IPR and also ICP are new original on but i still get this code in my scan tool p2623 some i take IPR pigtails out and connected again start right away with no problem I suspect may be wiring issue from IPR to FICM am wondering if there is wire diagram I'm just guessing maybe i am wrong your advice will be helpful

new original? Does this mean you replaced them with new OEM unit, or they look new and or original? Here are the wiring diagrams and a guide for the IPR and engine.

To answer your question yes i just replaced them with new om units
Since my knowledge in cars are poor am trying to learn from YouTube and people like you it's difficult for me to understand this diagram hopefully i can found help.

If i may ask is ipr wires connect in the harness to ficm directly.

is there fuse or relay related to ipr

Is oil pump or bad o rings make ipr failed how can i till
now after I crank two three times no start i use spray start up right away and run smooth and perfect even start after three or four hours perfect
But next day i have to use spray again
is it the oil pump
Now i scan no codes appear

I apologize for the long story am trying to but in picture sorry again.

code p2623 is a circuit error so no on the bad oil pump or bad or rings to cause the issue. This will be the valve, wiring or PCM. Please double check the wiring using the diagrams and guide above.
