It sounds to me like you have a bad RPM sensor, and a bad Speedo sensor. The RPM sensor is located on your bell housing, it screws in and has a lock nut, 1" I think is the size. Speedo sensor will be at the back end of the trans, and screws in like the RPM sensor. They both will have wires coming out of them, going to a harness, should be a plug in for both. Hope this info helps you out. The parts are pretty pricey,
but if you can do a little wire modification, you
can make a Thermo King RPM sensor work and they used to be a lot less expensive.

Electrical problem
1993 Questions for all other cars All Wheel Drive 800000 miles

I don't know if you can help me or not. My question is in regards to a semi-truck! 1993 International with a 3406c Cat Engine. My tach had been out for some time, but my speedo just went out. I got a new one and it didn't work either. So I'm suspecting that ir is probably an electrical issue. If anyone has any ideas or troubleshooting tips to offer, I would greatly appreciate your time. THank you! Kara!
