Intermediate Shaft replacement?

The intermediate shaft I removed is not the same as the one AutoZone, Advance, Smith, O'Rielly's, etc. Keeps selling me.

Is this for the steering or driveline? If for the front CV axle which is what I think you mean here is the part number and the instructions on how to change it out.

For the front CV axles of a 2014 Jeep Compass with a 2.0L 4-cylinder 2WD engine, the part numbers are:

Left Front CV Axle: Mopar 68223535AA
Right Front CV Axle: Mopar 68223536AA
