Intake manifold

Someone I know is letting me use his smoke machine and I haven't ever use one before. So where do I connect it so I can see if there is a intake manifold leak? On my e150 van.

I attached a general evap system topography diagram. The easiest way without a scanner is to disconnect the evap system purge valve line that comes from the tank and insert your smoke tester nozzle in there, then pinch off the line that comes off of the vent valve (vent side), this line usually goes into the frame into a plastic diffuser. This will basically seal off the system for testing in a mechanical fashion.

Oh thank you so much. I'm in a wheelchair as I stated before but I should I can get to the EVAP system purge valve line. That is inside of the van. Unfortunately I can't get to the rest of them. But I will show someone this what you showed me. Maybe they can get to the other lines, etc.

Oh, okay. I apologize for not taking your disability into consideration! You will definitely need assistance with the diagnosis because you have to go under the vehicle, under the hood, peek on top of the fuel tank and many other awkward positions that will require agility. Any other information you need just let us know! Good luck!
