My instrument cluster gauges stopped working. It will show the mileage and the shift options when you turn the key into aux mode but as soon as you start it it turns off those things. Also the gauges jump a tiny bit with turning the key like it’s trying to work but they don’t do anything else. Also the power locks don’t lock the doors when I’m driving now like they did when the cluster board was working.

Hey OVALTINE2981,

Can you please tell us the engine that is in your vehicle?

It sounds like you may have an issue with the ignition switch.

If you can let us know which motor you have we can guide you through the testing steps.

Regards, Joe

Hey OVALTINE2981,

Perfect thank you.

I have attached the wiring diagram below.

It sounds like you may have an issue with the ignition feed to the cluster.

Can you please check that you have power at both sides of fuse 2 in the interior fuse panel. This should be under the left side of the dash.

You should have 12V at either side of the fuse, if not this points to an issue with the ignition switch/wiring.

Also check fuse 15 in the under hood fuse box.

There is a guide below for checking fuses.

Let us know what you find here.

Regards, Joe
