Started up one afternoon and all the warning lights are flashing, info said brake failure stop slowly, neither tachometer or mph gauge works, nor fuel or engine temperature gauge work, clock does not work on cluster or on radio screen. Every thing else like radio, cruse will odometer records about 1 mile for every 1/2 driven. No other problems with car preforms great drives great. Instrument Cluster bad?

Hi,

I noted that you are a mechanic. So, I'm going to jump right in. Have you scanned the can bus system? Here is a video showing what I am referring to:

I attached a portion of the warning system for the instrument cluster. It shows the central electronic module power supply. Check to see if anything has popped a fuse.

Let me know.

Hi,

I have to be honest, without checking for codes, it becomes a guessing game. It could be the cluster, CEM, a ground issue and so on. I don't feel comfortable saying to replace parts simply because I can't confirm. Hope that makes sense.

Is it possible for you to have the scan done that I suggested?
