Input speed sensor location?

So I was driving and the vehicle jerked then wouldn't go out of second gear until i parked somewhere and turned it off. Wen I turned it back on a few minutes later it was working fine. So I took it to oriellys to hook up the scanner and it said p0717. Input speed sensor. So im trying to figure out exactly where it's at and all these videos on YouTube and diagrams aren't showing me exactly where it's located at

Yep, it sounds like the sensor is bad, I assume the transmission is an 8 speed, correct?

The P0717 code is related to the Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal.

Here is how to change the input shaft sensor out, which is no easy job as if the sensor was outside the case like the older models. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
