So I purchased a Chevy Trax and I am having a small problem with the infotainment system. The screen comes on and the radio works, The controls on the steering wheel work and allows me to change the stations that way, however when I try to use the screen to go through the menus or change the stations, the screen is unresponsive. I have taken a look through the troubleshooting guides and I get to the point of checking my software, however I can't access the menu.
Is there anything that you can recommend me try before I go into the process of replacing the screen?
Thank you for any help that you can send my way.

The screen go out all the time in these cars, they don't like the heat and cold. This is why some newer cars are going back to knobs. There is a chance the telematics module is going out but you need to scan the CAN to find a code that points to it, please go over this video to see how todo the scan.

But, like I say the screens had issues when they age. Please let me know how it goes. Ken
