WATER PUMP
Removal
Drain radiator and cylinder block. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses. Remove fan shroud.
CAUTION:Ensure cooling system is fully drained so no coolant contacts the timing belt.

Remove drive belts and water pump pulley. Remove crankshaft pulley. Remove upper and lower outer timing belt covers. Remove retaining bolts and water pump.
Installation
Ensure water pump sealing surfaces are clean. Apply sealant on rear of water pump. Install water pump. Install and tighten retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. Fill cooling system.
