1995 Infiniti G20 1.8. DOOR PROBLEM

Hey car pros I am new to the site and I'm loving what I see so far. I have a problem with my 95'Infiniti G20t 1.8. My driver side door will not open! When I unlock the door from the keyfob it unlocks but as soon as I try to open the door it locks. Also the handle on the driver side door does'nt work from the inside or outside. I think if I could get the door open I could take off the door pannel and attempt to fix the handle. So I guess my question is how do I get the door open and what do you think is the problem with my locks? : ? :

A thought that went through my head is to look at unlocking the door, then removing the battery positive terminal connection and waing a couple of minutes. Then try opening the door. This should prevent the door from relocking again.

Sounds like a relay problem.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. Just another problem!
My driver's side door is also broken, but my problem seems to be a mechanical one. When I lock the door from the inside I can still open the drivers door about half the time. Also, when I unlock the door, sometimes it still won't open.
Were you able to find a solution? Any ideas?
