1994 Infiniti J30 locks freaking out

Lately when driving my car will randomly lock. The drivers side will only lock manually. I can unlock it with the remote. Today after putting gas in, I tried to close the drivers side but the door would not latch. Then all locks started flipping back and forth for about 30 seconds. Finally when it stopped I was able to close the door and drive. When I went to park and get out, I could not open the door. Everytime I tried to manually unlock it it would lock again. I ended up climbing out the passenger side. Can you please give me any ideas of what to do?

Thank you for the donation.

Symptom indicates the driver door lock actuator is bad. The lock/unlock switch inside the actuator is stuck in the locked position and when the unlocking command is made, it would automatically relock itself.

Check the actuator and wires for shorting to ground.
