2000 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 142k miles

My Inner Tired Rod popped in half. What is the worse possible damage that could have happened to the car and if the rack and penion got messed up, how much does that cost to repair?

Hi there,

An inner tie rod end will be around $100 and approx 1 Hr labour, the inner rod end is screwed onto the rack, so if the ball end failed the rack should be ok, you will also have to allow for an alignment as well.
