Electrical problem
2000 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 78,000 miles

My traction control light is showing " off" and my moon roof will not open. There is no motor noise for the moon roof, and trying to switch the traction control button doesn't work. I suspect this is a fuse issue. Is it? And if so, how do I know which fuse needs replacement? The car starts and runs fine otherwise.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Illinoisinfiniti130t,

The best way to check fuses is with the aid of a test lamp.

Ground the test lamp and use the probe to test both ends of the fuse to be checked, if 1 side has power and the other does not, the fuse is blown.

Those that operates through the ignition switch must be tested with ignition switched on.
