1999 Infiniti I30 Strut replacement - follow up

Hey Guys,

Thank you for your answer to my first question on the proceedure for changing out the struts. As a follow up, a friend recommended I replace the shock towers. What are they, should I and how easy is it?

Hi Ralph,

While replacing the struts, you would need to remove the strut towers, which is the strut mount insulators , Item # 8. Replacement is necessary if the insulator is bad, such as cracked or torn.
