Is it easy to replace the lower oil pan on this car and what would be the procedure? Requires No Gasket

Liquid gasket is used.

OIL PAN
Removal
1 . Remove engine side cover. Drain engine oil. Remove steel oil pan bolts in reverse of tightening sequence. See Fig. 11 . Remove steel oil pan. Insert slide tool to remove oil pan.
Be careful not damage aluminum oil pan.
2 . Remove front exhaust tube. Use a hoist to support transmission. Lift engine with sling. Remove Centermember.
3 . On A/T models, remove A/T control cable. On all models, remove rear cover plate. Remove aluminum oil pan bolts in reverse of tightening sequence. See Fig. 12 . Remove baffle plate.
4 . Remove 2 engine-to-transaxle bolts. Install one bolt in open hole. See Fig. 13 . Tighten bolt to separate aluminum oil pan from cylinder block. Remove aluminum oil pan. remove engine-to-transaxle bolt installed in aluminum oil pan. See Fig. 13 .

CAUTION: DO NOT insert screwdriver between cylinder block and oil pan, as it may distort oil pan flange. DO NOT contact oil pump body or crankshaft rear oil seal retainer surface with seal cutter.

Installation
1 . Ensure aluminum oil pan is clean and dry. Apply a continuous .015 - . 197" (4.0 - 5.0 mm) diameter bead of sealant in groove on aluminum oil pan sealing surface. Ensure sealant is positioned on inside surface of bolt holes. Apply sealant on both end of seals where they contact the oil pump body or crankshaft rear oil seal retainer and the aluminum oil pan.
Install aluminum oil pan to engine within 5 minutes of applying sealant. Install and tighten bolts to specification in sequence. See Fig. 12 . See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
2 . Ensure steel oil pan is clean and dry. Apply a continuous .015 - . 197" (4.0 - 5.0 mm) diameter
bead of sealant in groove on steel oil pan sealing surface. Ensure sealant is positioned on inside surface of bolt holes. Apply sealant on both end of seals where they contact the oil pump body or crankshaft rear oil seal retainer and the steel oil pan. Install steel oil pan to engine within 5 minutes of applying sealant. Install and tighten bolts to specification in
sequence. See Fig. 11 . See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
3 . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Wait at least 30 minutes before refilling engine oil.
