I just bought a 1995 Infiniti G20T with 100,000 miles on it. The care runs great but there is a slight whining noise that occurs when I decelerate, especially as I am soming to a stop. Any ideas of what this could be?

Well that rules out hub bearings so it is most likely differential bearings or worm pinon and ring gears.

This is what my dad thought it might be as well. Is this something I should fix right away or can it wait a bit?

Thankyou for your help!

You could drive a long way with slight whine. If not done recently change trans fluid you want to go with something like a Lucas Oil product.
