2) Power transistor
3) wiring harness
a) checked from coil to power transistor
b) checked from power transistor to condensor resistor
c) checked from ECCS to power transistor
d) checked from ECCS to condensor resistor
4) The distributor was not checked but was swapped with the new engine and then swapped back from the old engine.
5) The condensor resistor measures 1.2 Ohms (should be 2.2 but I should get at least a weak spark) of resistance.
The system had blown a 10 amp fuse for the starter circuit.
The engine was replaced due to excessive mileage and blown head gasket (according to the used car dealer that sold it to my friend).
I follwed the Infinity manual and according to it I should have spark.
This is a friends car that he bought from a used car lot for nothing because it was not running and thier mechanics could not figure out the problem.
Is there any way to check the computer (besides self diagnostic) out of the car?
I am honestly at wits end.
have the same problem?
