You need to jack up, block. Remove tires, disconnect lower ball joints ( or rermove a-arm bolts ). Disconnect tierods, remove cotter pin, keeper & nut on outside of axle, jack up on front spindel( brake rotor) moving it out ward, pull axle out of front spindle from behind, put bucket under trans to catch oil( drivers side), pull sharply on axle and will come out. Similar on passenger side.
