can i eliminate the 4 way connector on hoses coming from fire wall?

Hi,
I need to see a pic of the 4-way connector you are referring to. If this is a Mini Cooper S, two of the hoses are the supply and return for the engine oil cooler, so no they can't be replaced.
I attached the heater hoses at the firewall below. Is that where you are looking?
Let me know. If you can take a pic and upload it for me to see, it would be helpful. Also, follow the hoses. Two should go to the firewall and if you follow the others, they should go to the oil filter base/cooler.
