If you are getting sparks now, most probably you have already bypassed the system. What you need to check is the fuel pump circuit.

Fuel pump gets its power from the circuit opening relay located in left kick panel.

I have a 97 Toyota Rav 4 with an after factory alarm that has engaged suddenly after being inoperable for the time that I have owned the car (bought used w/o any alarm remote device). What I would like to know if there is a way to diable the alarm system so that I can START the car and drive it home? Thank you so much for your time and assistance.

If its the alarm that not
Allowing you to start the truck
Look for an off on switch usually they put it around the driver side area under the dash also look for a push in switch usually black in color
After locating the switch turn key on toggle the switch on and off and try to start if didn’t try to put the switch on and try again
If it’s the push in switch again turn key on push switch and let go then try to start
Good luck
