How to bypass the anti theft system?

My car is stuck in anti theft mode so when I try to start it it does nothing. I took the transponder chip out of the key and placed it directly on to the PATs ignition switch key chip reader and still nothing. Do you have any Ideas of how to bypass the anti theft system? I have the key just not the original dealer key.

Hi,

There really isn't a way to bypass the system. Have you had the can-bus scanned to see if there are codes that may point you in the right direction? CAN stands for controller area network. All modules/computers are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will identify the code regardless of the module storing it.

If you look at the attachments below, they provide the basics for inspection and verification of the anti-theft system. Take a look through them to see if you are comfortable performing the tests.
