Cannot get car to start after changing the steering column

Dash lights and things light up, but no crank no start. Please assist. all suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,

Is the security light staying on? Do the lights and other things turn on when you place the key in the run position? Did you use the switch/key from the other column?
