Key will not turn

I got a new ignition cylinder from the dealer I have the same issues key won't turn. After l monkey with it for a while it will eventually turn. Also, my steering wheel does not lock. I bought the vehicle about a month ago. Hammering on the key would usually get it to turn but that doesn't even seem to work anymore.

In the diagrams down below I have included a guide from the vehicle manufacturer on the ignition lock cylinder for your vehicle. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what setup your vehicle has and we can go from there with the correct guide for what you need.
