Gray smoke coming out and an idle RPM problem

There’s gray smoke coming out and an idle rpm problem and it turned off and won’t crank.

Hi Vincent,

Sounds like you have a fuel issue. The gray smoke is excess fuel being burned. I would suggest with starting with get the codes from the computers. I am sure there are some due to the rough idle and now the no start.

We need the codes because there is not a direct correlation between the poor running condition and a no crank situation. If it cranked and just did not start, that would be different but a no crank is electrical (normally) and just a rich running engine does not normally cause that.
