I’m having heck of a time figuring out what this part is I know it has a green connector and also connects to battery terminal, and it’s supposed to have 2 wires coming out of the green connector.

I would just bypass the connector and wire it directly, where did you remove it from the alternator? Just make new wiring for it. Let me know if you need more help.

It disconnected from that plug but the wire that got burnt off is the issue because there is no power when it is connected.

Okay, I assume the battery is stalled when you are testing? Did the I-let side of the connector go to the battery? If so, just wire the power wires together and don't worry about the connector. Thanks for the image.

Okay, but do you know what the part is even called? Because that’s what my question was anyways.
