Hello,

This vehicle is also called Daihatsu Sirion on the world market

I can only advise you to program in a new key using CarProg

The immobiliser chip is in the immobiliser module under the steering column.
Usually marked "immobilizer" or "134.2khz"

Remove immobilizer box from vehicle and open box.
Locate 93C66 EEPROM. See image below
Remove EEPROM and read with CarProg using A4 or A5 adapter.
Follow instructions and program in new key

Cheers, Boris

Hello,

CarProg programmers and software are available online. The instructions will be displayed on screen once using CarProg.

A link for a CarProg retailer:
https://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/carprog-v821.html

As for your initial question I assumed you had experience and equipment to read EEPROMS and to program keys.

You will need to virginise the immobiliser EEPROM and then program key to immobilizer. Once done the ECM will synchronize with the immobilizer again.

My suggestion would be if you have no experience in this to best send it off to a specialist shop.

Cheers, Boris
